ANOTHER MAJOR RELEASE |

Thank you all for your input on
Vyatta
features
and your support as Vyatta users. Especially to our Vyatta
appliance & subscription customers who recognize the benefits of
Vyatta professional services and technical support.
With the March 9th release of Vyatta Community Edition 5, we now
have another major milestone
under our belt. VC5 not only rounds out our security feature
set, but it really cemented Vyatta's ability to continue to displace
proprietary gear in the routing and security market space.
This version was very well received by the media (see below) and by
the Vyatta community.

VC5 greatly expands
Vyatta's security feature set, adding SSL-based OpenVPN, intrusion
prevention (IPS), and URL filtering. VC5 also simplifies
configuration and management by adding a web-based GUI.

you and get a quick look at some basic configurations. If you are

Vyatta.org community forums are a great resource for you to get your
Vyatta software installed, configured and tested. There are
over 7500 registered users who actively contribute to the forums
including some very experienced network engineers and many of
Vyatta's own engineering team.
