We've recently been working on some press opportunities with
customers who are running Vyatta in virtual environments and it's
been a fascinating exercise.
As expected, most of the same issues that are present in physical
infrastructures need to be addressed in the virtual. While
most users are consolidating applications and infrastructure and
looking for a tool to include the same routing and firewall rules as
their physical networks, some are using the inherent functionality of virtualization to enhance their infrastructure and innovate.
