NOTHING UP THE
SLEEVES |
|
An interesting aspect of open-source and
Vyatta is the transparency. From the feature roadmap right
down to the source code, we've got nothing up our sleeves. Having
that much
visibility creates a great sense of accountability and
responsibility.
Think about this way...it's one thing to feel pressure to deliver
from your boss, it's something else entirely when a worldwide user
community of 50,000+ has the same expectations. That might
scare a weaker group of people, but it's motivation to us!
With all of you watching, we are pushing hard toward the launch of
VC5 which promises to be another milestone in features, functions
and performance.
