Management Team

Robert Bays, Chief Technology Officer


Robert has been working in the networking industry since 1994. Prior to joining Vyatta he was the CTO at InfiniRoute Networks providing optimized long haul VoIP transit to international long distance providers. InfiniRoute was the genesis of a merger with his previous company, Proficient Networks, where he was a co-founder and held the role of Chief Scientist designing Internet route optimization technology. Before joining Proficient Robert held Senior Network Engineering roles at Telegis and Digital Island.

Lisa Pavey, Vice President Product Engineering


Lisa brings over 20 years of engineering leadership to drive Vyatta's product strategy and delivery. Prior to joining Vyatta, Lisa held engineering leadership positions at NetApp, Tesla Motors, Sun Microsystems, Vodafone, Sequent and DEC, where she started her career as a kernel engineer. She has a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science from the University of Reading, UK.

Sheen Khoury, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Field Operations


Sheen brings more than 20 years experience building and managing world-class field sales and field operations teams. Before joining Vyatta, Sheen was co-founder and CEO of cloud management start-up Virtiv. Prior to that, Sheen led the global sales teams at Netscaler (Acquired by Citrix), where he was SVP of Worldwide Sales, and Exodus Communications, where he was SVP of Strategic Sales. He formulated, implemented, and managed the worldwide sales and global account teams at Aerohive Networks as EVP of Sales and Operations , and at Good Technology as the first VP of Sales. Previously, Sheen has held sales executive positions with Primary Knowledge, Genuity, Inc. and Oracle Corporation.

Scott Clark, Senior Director Worldwide Channel Sales


Scott brings more than 16 years experience building start up companies and leading enterprise field sales and channel organizations. Before joining Vyatta, Scott participated in developing Accuvant's North Central business and founded the Chicago Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance.  Prior to that, Scott created the Strategic Channel Program at Aerohive Networks as Senior Director.  Scott has served as President of Utopia Solutions, Director Sales and MKS, Iron Mountain and Exodus Communications.  He began his career at Microsoft in Corporate Accounts.    Scott graduated from Northwestern, Kellogg School of Management, Executive Development Program and has a Bachelors of Science from Butler University. 

Jon Arnold, Managing Director of EMEA

A 20 year veteran of the European IT industry, Jon specializes in driving growth of emerging companies. Previously, he has served as Sales Director Northern Europe for Riverbed Technology where he launched the European business and drove revenue from $0 to more than $45 million in 5 years. Latterly, he was European Managing Director for Coverity, a market leading software tools company. Jon has also held senior sales positions with Novell and Cisco, where he set up and ran the defence and intelligence business in the UK.
